Boston, MA, United States
I have been on clinical staff at Massachusetts General Hospital, specializing in Gastrointestinal Malignancies since 2010. I received a Bachelor of Arts in both Biology and Business Economics in 2001 at Brown University, graduating with Honors with Distinction, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Subsequently, I graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, where I received the Glasgow-Rubin Achievement Award, which is awarded to the top 10% of the class, and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. I completed my preliminary medicine internship at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA, and my radiation oncology residency in the Harvard Radiation Oncology Program. In my last year, I was elected as Co-Chief Resident of the Harvard Radiation Oncology Program. I was promoted to Assistant Professor in February 2013 at the Department of Radiation Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital. From 2011 to 2015, I served as an Associate Senior Editor of the Gastrointestinal Section for the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, and Physics, the highest impact journal of our field. My research has predominantly focused on assessing and improving outcomes and treatment related toxicities for gastrointestinal cancer. I have recently completed accrual to an NCI funded prospective study of pencil beam scanning proton beam radiotherapy for anal cancer. |
