Dr. Fabio Ynoe de Moraes is an Associate Professor and Clinical investigator in Radiation Oncology, Global Oncology and Innovation at the Queen’s University and Kingston Health Sciences Centre in Ontario, Canada. Dr. Moraes graduated from and trained as Radiation Oncologist at the Hospital Sírio-Libanês in São Paulo, Brazil. He worked at University of São Paulo and Hospital Sírio-Libanês in São Paulo Brazil. He moved to Toronto, Canada in 2016 for a 3-year clinical-research fellowship at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre within University of Toronto. Before joining Queen’s University, Dr. Moraes performed high-level clinical and research activities at the Hospital Sírio-Libanês, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, and the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre. Dr. Moraes has over 100 published peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Moraes earned his PhD in health sciences (Applied oncology) from Hospital Sírio-Libanês Research Institute in 2021. He also recently completed the University of Texas post graduate degree in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Dr. Moraes is completing his MBA in 2022. Dr. Moraes’ research is aimed at exploring the intersection between oncology, health policy and innovation.
